The Conservatory Division classes are for intermediate to advanced dancers who show exceptional desire, talent, and ability in dance. Dancers are placed in the Conservatory Division by teacher placement only. Conservatory Division ballet classes emphasize correct classical ballet techniques and terminology. As students progress through each level curriculum will become increasingly more complex and intricate. We encourage students to take classes in multiple styles of dance. Conservatory Division Ballet classes are labeled CD-1, CD-2 etc. CDJ, CDHH and CDT stand for Conservatory Division Jazz, Conservatory Division Hip Hop & Conservatory Division Tap.
Contemporary
Minimum 1 class per week. This is for dancers in ballet levels CD-3 through CD-5.
Dress Code:
Girls: Class leotard, Body Wrappers tights #45 in Theatrical Pink, dance shorts may be worn at teacher’s discretion.
Boys: White crew neck T-shirt, black bike shorts or convertible tights
Dancers may want kneepads.
Jazz
CDJ - 1
Minimum 1 class per week. This is for dancers in ballet level CD-1
Dress Code:
Girls: Close fitting top, Black bike shorts or leggings, Tan jazz shoes. Tights will be required for our June performance.
Boys: Comfortable clothes that can easily be moved in, no jeans/pants that hang over shoes, Tan jazz shoes.
CDJ-2
Minimum 1 class per week. This is for dancers in ballet level CD-1
Dress Code:
Girls: Close fitting top, Black bike shorts or leggings, Tan jazz shoes. Tights will be required for our June performance.
Boys: Comfortable clothes that can easily be moved in, no jeans/pants that hang over shoes, Tan jazz shoes.
Ballet

Minimum 3 technique classes + 1 pre-pointe/pointe class per week.
Dress Code:
Girls: Capezio #202 or Theatricals #N5501 Black tank leotard, pink, full-soled leather ballet shoes, Body Wrappers tights #45 in Theatrical Pink.
Boys: White crew neck T-shirt, black bike shorts or full-footed tights, white socks, black or white ballet shoes.
Pre-Pointe: Theraband, small towel or washcloth, towelettes to wipe feet (alcohol wipes/baby wipes etc.), pinky ball
CD-2
Minimum 3 technique classes + 2 pointe class per week.
Dress Code:
Girls: Capezio #202 or Theatricals #N5501 Black tank leotard, Bloch Zenith canvas, split-soled ballet shoes in pink, Body Wrappers tights #45 in Theatrical Pink.
Boys: White crew neck T-shirt, black bike shorts or full-footed tights, white socks, black or white ballet shoes.
Pre-Pointe: Theraband, small towel or washcloth, towelettes to wipe feet (alcohol wipes/baby wipes etc.), pinky ball
CD-3
Minimum 4 technique classes + 3 pointe classes per week.
Dress Code:

Minimum 5 technique classes + 3 pointe classes per week

Girls: Black Leotard; Bloch Zenith canvas split-soled ballet shoes in pink, Body Wrappers tights #45 or #46, in Theatrical Pink. CD-4 & CD-5 may wear a colored leotard of their choice on Tuesdays. Company leotards are to be worn on Saturdays. Full footed, pink tights are still required, no black tights.
Boys: White crew neck T-shirt, black bike shorts or full-footed tights, white socks, black or white ballet shoes.
CD-5
